Brought to you by the Friends of the North Coast's Natural History Museum
The Friends of the North Coast's Natural History Museum is a devoted group of volunteers and community members who have come together to fundraise, organize and develop plans to keep the museum open.

Although we recently received word that HSU did not accept our proposal we are not giving up! We have already raised over $74,000 in pledges -- a considerable amount considering the short time line and we plan to raise more!

If you have been thinking about pledging then pledge now! As we get word out about our continued efforts and continue to communicate this to HSU we want them to see just how dedicated this community is to the museum.

Since tomorrow (SATURDAY) is bring your kids to the museum day from 11-2 so we can film them for our video...

"Dear Spring, I like the egg you showed us. I even liked everything in the Natural History Museum and the animals there I love them."

I give you -- thank you letters to the museum -- by kids who can draw way better than I did when I was little.
We're a bunch of adults working on a bunch of adult things to save this museum but it's the kids who remember the *awe* feeling that you get when you walk in and see the great big bird on the ceiling or the shark hanging above you.
Our community group is coming together for a lot of reasons and this is just one of the many.
And we even like everything in the Natural History Museum too.
